Ayurveda for Yoga Teachers Course
Ayurveda for Yoga Teachers:
A 20-hour Continuing Education Course
6-week course hosted online: January 6- Feb. 10 2021
20 CEUs from Yoga Alliance
Create sustainable ritual for yourself
Tailor unique yoga classes to suit your students needs
Understand Yoga's sister, Ayurveda, and how they work together
Do you want to feel grounded and serve from a balanced place?
Are you tired of offering the same old themes and flows to your students?
If yes, I'm here for you.
I'm passionate about supporting yoga teachers who are overwhelmed, under-paid, and losing their own practice by putting their students and clients needs first.
Have you ever done these?
Rolled out of bed to teach a 6 a.m. class
Run from class to class and eat a sandwich in your car
Wish you had time for your own practice
I HEAR YOU. I was you.
This is where Ayurveda comes in. Ayurveda is yoga's sister, here to support and encourage you to stay dedicated to your own practice and rituals. Ayurveda can help you manage time and self-care so you can drop overwhelm and step into the seat of teacher with more ease.
Learn how to incorporate Ayurveda into your yoga classes as well as your personal practice
Recognize the doshas present in your students and tailor a class according to the season, time of day, and other natural rhythms
Learn what poses, meditation practices, breathing practices and drishtis are supportive in balancing the energy of your students and classes
Create your own ritual practices to support your own needs and create routine
Learning to become an Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher supported me in ways that I didn't know were possible. I began to understand the natural rhythms of nature and how they translated within me and how they can affect my students. Each class is tailored and unique according to Ayurvedic principles and my students leave feeling more in harmony with themselves and nature.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Will this training make me certified in Ayurveda?
No. This course will introduce you to Ayurveda and support you in creating connection with yourself and your students through the philosophy and application of Ayurveda. You will not be able to diagnose or treat your students. You will have an understanding of specific yoga poses, breathing practices, and meditation practices to support them based on time of life, seasons, etc...
If you are interested in becoming certified in Ayurveda, you would begin with a 650-hr Ayurvedic Health Counseling program, like the one I did at Kripalu. The National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) is the governing board for accrediting Ayurveda.
The purpose of this training is to support you as a yoga teacher in finding balance and harmony with yourself, and in learning how to unite yoga and Ayurveda to better serve your students and community.
What are the requirements?
This course is designed for yoga teachers and/or those who have a deep knowledge and understanding of yoga. You will need to show up to the live calls and/or reflect on questionnaires if you watch the recording. You will also be asked to try on practices each week to support yourself in creating ritual.
What is the cost of the training?
$597 or an agreed upon payment plan. Due to the time and energy dedicated to creating this course, no refunds will be given thereafter. If there is something not working for you, please communicate with me so we can adjust and support you in getting the most out of this online training.
Is it Yoga Alliance approved?
Yes. If you are a yoga alliance registered yoga teacher you are eligible to earn 20 continuing education credits. You will have 30 days from the last day of the training to complete any coursework. As an E-RYT and Continuing Education Provider, I will be able to confirm that you completed the program and it will be attached to your Yoga Alliance profile.
I can’t recommend and thank Justine enough for her compassionate teaching, authentic way of being and presenting these principles into my life. The girl walks the talk and truly wants to spread what’s slowly becoming a lost way of living. Get in rhythm with nature to find rhythm in your body to better control your life. Give her a follow. You may just be inspired to start living your best life

Ayurveda for Yoga Teachers helped me become more centered, less anxious and irritable in my daily life, in return healed my relationship with my children as they became less irritable as well. It made me a better yoga teacher, once again I am able to teach from the HEART. The words, poses, guided meditations flow through me vs. having to think about the next move. I recommend this program for yoga teachers, depleted mamas, work at home, stay at home mamas. As a mentor Justine is an absolute goddess. Her knowledge of yoga and ayurveda is exceptional, her spirit is amazing, her support is something I aspire too for my very own students. - Alyssa, AYT Participant
Ayurveda for Yoga Teachers helped me learn more about my personal Ayurvedic constitution, how to balance out my imbalances and new and improved yoga sequences. Before AYT, I was teaching the same power vinyasa style classes over and over for the last 5 years. Now have a much deeper understanding of identifying my own and student needs in class and tailoring my class to support the season and vibe in the room. As a mentor, Justine is understanding, supportive, knowledgeable, funny, makes everyone feel included no matter what stage they are at in their Ayurveda journey. - Janice, AYT Participant
"Without this program I would still be feeling depleted and run down as a part-time yoga teacher and full time health educator - balancing work, life, family and fun - with very little time for rest and relaxation. Now, this has totally changed. I'm tuning into my energy and body; and resting (and saying no) as called. Because of AYT, I now understand the importance of true, radical rest and self-care and how that affects my abilities to serve and be a leader in my community. It's all connected. What I put in, is truly what I emit outward. These lessons are invaluable and again, I'm just so grateful to have been part of this program."

"I've looked into SEVERAL continuing education classes for Ayurveda, and Justine's is the sweet spot. Her class is approachable and covers the same topics as well known programs, but with MUCH less- actually no fluff. So important. A lot of programs try to beef up their offerings and make it so complex to make it seem "more valuable", but Justine cuts through the clutter so that we truly can live and share Ayurveda, which is the most valuable part." - Lindsey, AYT Participant
