This is where Ayurveda comes in. Ayurveda is yoga's sister, here to support and encourage you to stay dedicated to your own practice and rituals. Ayurveda can help you manage time and self-care so you can drop overwhelm and step into the seat of teacher with more ease.

Learning to become an Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher supported me in ways that I didn't know were possible. I began to understand the natural rhythms of nature and how they translated within me and how they can affect my students. Each class is tailored and unique according to Ayurvedic principles and my students leave feeling more in harmony with themselves and nature.

Module One: Introduction to Ayurveda - learn the basics of Ayurvedic principles, understand your dosha, and create self-care ritual for yourself right away. 


Module Two: Sense Care and the 5 elements - learn the 3 causes of disease and understand how the 5 elements are working in-depth and how they relate to our sense organs. 


Module Three: Vata-pacifying yoga - Go deeper into Vata dosha and learn how to build a vata- balancing yoga class and vata balancing rituals for self-inquiry. 


Module Four: Pitta-pacifying yoga - Go deeper into PItta dosha and learn how to build a pitta-balancing yoga class and pitta-balancing rituals for self-inquiry. 


Module Five: Kapha-balancing yoga- Go deeper into Kapha dosha and learn how to build a kapha-balancing yoga class and kapha-balancing rituals for self-inquiry. 


Module Six: Learn how to build a tri-doshic yoga class, integrate what you've experienced and learn about Ayurveda and the Mind.

Frequently Asked Questions: 

Will this training make me certified in Ayurveda? 


No. This course will introduce you to Ayurveda and support you in creating connection with yourself and your students through the philosophy and application of Ayurveda. You will not be able to diagnose or treat your students. You will have an understanding of specific yoga poses, breathing practices, and meditation practices to support them based on time of life, seasons, etc... 


If you are interested in becoming certified in Ayurveda, you would begin with a 650-hr Ayurvedic Health Counseling program, like the one I did at Kripalu. The National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) is the governing board for accrediting Ayurveda. 


The purpose of this training is to support you as a yoga teacher in finding balance and harmony with yourself, and in learning how to unite yoga and Ayurveda to better serve your students and community. 


What are the requirements? 


This course is designed for yoga teachers and/or those who have a deep knowledge and understanding of yoga. You will need to show up to the live calls and/or reflect on questionnaires if you watch the recording. You will also be asked to try on practices each week to support yourself in creating ritual. 


What is the cost of the training? 


$597 or an agreed upon payment plan. Due to the time and energy dedicated to creating this course, no refunds will be given thereafter. If there is something not working for you, please communicate with me so we can adjust and support you in getting the most out of this online training. 


Is it Yoga Alliance approved? 


Yes. If you are a yoga alliance registered yoga teacher you are eligible to earn 20 continuing education credits. You will have 30 days from the last day of the training to complete any coursework.  As an E-RYT and Continuing Education Provider, I will be able to confirm that you completed the program and it will be attached to your Yoga Alliance profile.
